Workshop on 'Implementation of Indigenous Navigator Initiative in Nepal'

Workshop on 'Implementation of Indigenous Navigator initiative in Nepal' was held on 21-23 June 2017 in Bhaktapur with the objective to internalize the Navigator Framework and Tools to systematically monitor the implementation of Indigenous Peoples (IPs) human rights. Broad discussion was held on the indicators that are based on the United Nations Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples (UNDRIP), Outcome Document of the World Conference on Indigenous Peoples (WCIP) and Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), 2030.

Representative of Indigenous Peoples' Organizations, Indigenous Activists and Experts were the participants of the workshop organized by Lawyers' Association for Human Rights of Nepalese Indigenous Peoples (LAHURNIP) with the support of Asia Indigenous Peoples Pact (AIPP).
