The Supreme Court (SC) of Nepal issues a "show cause" order on the writ petition related to due implementation of international instruments pertaining to indigenous peoples (IPs). Lawyers' Association for Human Rights of Nepalese Indigenous Peoples (LAHURNIP), with other IPs lawyers, have challenged the state on the SC for not implementing the International Labour Organistion's (ILO) Convention No. 169 and United Nations Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples (UNDRIP).
