First session of High level Policy Dialogue has just finished. Mr. Raja Devasish Roy, vice-chair of UNPFII presented the paper on "The international normative framework on the rights of indigenous peoples". Next paper on "The UN’s work on indigenous peoples and the 2030 Agenda" was presented by Ms. Julia Raavad, Secretariat of UNPFII. Similarly, Ms. Binda Magar, Gender and Social Inclusion Specialist, United Nations Development Programme(UNDP) shared the activities UNDP has been carrying out in Nepal. Based on the presentation, participants put forward queries and presenters answered each of the queries raised. Session was moderated by Mr. Shankar Limbu.
