Training on 'Drafting litigation and advocacy skill ' was organized on 6-8 December 2015. Primary objective of the training was to enhance capacity of marginalized community lawyers, particularly Indigenous and Madhesi on drafting litigation and advocacy skills to promote the rights of discriminated communities. Training has focused on drafting litigation, pleading techniques, gaps and lapses in new the Constitution, key provisions of International Labour Organization (ILO) Convention No. 169, United Nations Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples (UNDRIP), International Convention on the Elimination of all Forms of Racial Discrimination (ICERD), Convention on Elimination of All Forms of Discrimination against Women (CEDAW) and other international human rights instruments. There were twenty four participants who were representatives of different organizations of IPs, Madhesi and Dalit community. Out of twenty four, fourteen were women. A committee was formed called ' Litigation Drafting Committee' to carry out the task of litigation in which all lawyers participated in the training are the members of this committee.
