Review, Reflection and Learning Workshop on Indigenous Navigator

The pilot projects implementing partners are gathered in Bhaktapur to share their experiences and learning they earned during the course of projects implementation.

A total of 6 pilot projects that were developed employing Indigenous Navigator tools through direct participation of targeted Indigenous Peoples. The projects are to contribute for inclusive development in the context of SDGs.

Indigenous Peoples organizations (IPOs) of targeted communities (Bote, Chhantyal, Magar, Majhi, Magar, Pahari and Shanthal) and Indigenous Women Organizations have implemented the projects. It has been concluded that the projects have been effective and successful to more degree. The targeted communities, their IPOs and IPs women organizations have been able to establish good links with respective local governments. They  have been able to influence the local governments to address their development aspirations to some degree despite COVID-19.

The project implementing partners presented their achievements, the advocacy approach they adopted and challenges they encountered during the course of projects implementation.

The projects are funded by European Union whereas LAHURNIP has provided management support to the projects implementing partners at the country level.
